For the last two weeks at work, we have been listening to Frank Sinatra. What started as “Do you guys mind if I play a few Sinatra songs?” lead to Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior and even Bing Crosby singing classic though classy Christmas carols. There is something cool and classy about singing ‘Come Fly With Me’ and ‘You make me feel so young’ followed by ‘I Love Paris’, ‘New York New York’ then ‘White Christmas’ … especially when you’re a woman in her forties working alongside men in their twenties who are getting into Frank as much as you are!

But in the comfort of my own home, every year before Christmas Day and sometimes on Christmas Eve, there is something I must do!

I’ve got to watch ‘Love Actually’ and ‘Elf’.

Christmas time just isn’t the same without them!

I still feel ‘Love Actually’ is one of the best movies that casts many characters and delves into different story lines. Plus I will never tire of Hugh Grant dancing to the Pointer Sisters song “Jump”. And what can one say about Will Ferrell in ‘Elf’? Hilarious! A classic!
